Summer fun at Keswick Vineyards

Americans will celebrate the sacrifices of these brave men and women the best way we know how, by drinking, eating, and chillin’ in a lawn chair. A hammock if you’re lucky. On a boat if you have amazing friends.

This holiday, as we know, also ushers in the summer season.  Here at Virginia Wine Pass, we have a plan for you to spend your summer the way you ought to: exploring the best of Virginia Wine Country, tasting award winning varietals, and saving some green along the way.

Over the next many weeks, we’ll be sharing itineraries ideal for summer weekend getaways. So, gather up your friends, pack up the car, and make sure your Virginia Wine Pass is close at hand.

Travel tip:  reserve room in your truck for a few cases of the finest Virginia wine; there’s no way you’re leaving these tasting rooms empty handed!

 Delfosse Vineyards and Winery

Located in Faber, Virginia, DelFosse Vineyards & Winery is near Charlottesville and Jefferson’s Monticello. Its rural setting offers the serenity – and the wine – that only Central Virginia can provide.  Relax and have a quiet picnic by the lake or take a hike or a bike ride on the 5 1/2 miles of trails surrounding the winery.

DelFosse Vineyards and Winery is also pleased to offer the rental of its historic chestnut log cabin, a 100 plus year old cabin which was fully restored, inside and out, in 2005, that was initially used as the tasting room for the winery. The Log Cabin overlooks the lake, the terraced vineyards and the winery and serves as the perfect weekend or week long getaway.
