Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Father’s day is Sunday. Yep, that’s tomorrow. Ok, I’ll admit it…mine is a very large igneous type. In case, like me, you’re still looking for a great way to spoil the dad or hubby in your life, we’ve put together six great events happening at some of our favorite wineries. Whether your guy is the fishing, bbq, bacon type, or if even if he’s a quinoa, multi-course seated dinner man…we’ve got ya covered.
The Place: 868 Estate Vineyards
The Event: Beer and Bacon
The Details:
The tent at 868 Estate Vineyards is THE place to be on June 15th for a five-beer tasting from Lost Rhino Brewery and a buffet of
bacon-inspired foodincluding:
- Bacon & blue cheese sliders
- Pulled Pork and Bacon sliders
- Bacon Wrapped French Beans
- Roasted Jalapeno with Bacon and Local Goat Cheese
- Beer and Bacon Pretzels
- Bacon and Walnut Toffee and
- Bacon and Double Chocolate Brownies
Choose a time slot between noon and 2PM or from 2PM to 4PM and come enjoy a fabulous feast at 868!

The Place: Delfosse Vineyards and Winery
The Event: Fishing at Delfosse for Father’s Day
The Details:
Bring your husband and fishing poles to Delfosse on June 15th to celebrate Father’s Day. There will be live music in the plaza 
and they will be serving their crepes from 1-5 pm. Dads can fish in their pond beside the tasting room for this special day! Select from a menu of 5-8 different crepes. Here’s a sample menu:
Savory Crepes
- Sauteed Salmon with mango citrus salsa
- Grilled Brats with caramelized onions and peppers with a Dijon cream sauce
- Roasted chicken breast topped with avocado and feta
- Sweet Crepes
